What I did
Like many projects at CSG, I was given a script and asked to make a video. My internal stakeholders had the choice of blue, green, berry or plum; of which they chose blue.
One thing about me is that I like to be challenged, and a lot of that time, it’s me challenging myself. I knew for this project I was building a decision tree but needed a visually appealing way to showcase it without focusing on the literal decision tree. When I found the stock clip of the young man lying on the couch until his phone buzzes, I knew that was the clip I wanted at the focus of this piece.
The thrill of finding the right clip that changes how the viewer is seeing the images and how they move about the screen is what excites me about this piece. When it’s a constant 16:9 frame, we have to find ways to see the world differently and show that to our viewers.
